South Park, PA (June 16, 2008) Keith Barbara and Forbes Field Motorsports have been laying low the past month or so preparing for the ‘heart’ of the ‘big race’ season. Keith and his family owned Comcast / Triangle Benefit Services / Potoka Trucking / Forbes Field Garage / Ran Group Racing Tours sponsored #17 Rocket Chassis have only been trackside a handful of times in May and early June but the schedule will soon pick up for the South Park native.
Mother Nature as well as a short vacation held the Forbes Field Motorsports team to only six on track appearances during the last month and a half. Those appearances included three visits to Lernerville Speedway where he snagged three top ten finishes, fifth on May 2nd, eighth on May 9th, and fifth this past Friday, June 13th after starting 16th. The other three events Barbara took part in were sanctioned by the Unified Force Race Championship Tour (UFO). Keith finished 23rd on May, 25th at Central Pennsylvania Speedway in Clearfield, PA after a broken shock sent Keith pit side early in the event. June 1st at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway (PPMS) was the F-2 Shockwave ‘Twin 30’s’, Keith struggled during both 30 lap feature events coming home 16th in the first and ninth in the second.
Keith Barbara and the Forbes Field Motorsports team would like to remind their fans that Keith’s 2008 apparel is now available.
