Keith Barbara Races In Ohio And West Virginia |

South Park, PA (August 9, 2007) Keith Barbara and Forbes Field Motorsports made stops at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, OH, Elkins Speedway in Elkins, WV, and Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV over the past two weekends.
On Saturday, July 28th Keith entered his family owned Triangle Benefits Services / Potoka Trucking / Forbes Field Garage / RanGroup Racing Tours / Colbert’s Collision / Moses Electric / Rocket Chassis GTO in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned ‘Buckeye 50’ at Sharon Speedway. Barbara would start the night setting the 26th fastest time during time trials and finishing fifth in his heat race to put him in one of the night’s two ‘B-Mains’. Keith would finish fifth in his ‘B-Main’, one spot out of a transfer spot to the ‘A-Main’.
The following weekend the team found themselves at Elkins Speedway for a $5,000 to win Independent Racing Series sanctioned event on Friday, August 3rd. Barbara finished in the fourth spot in his heat to transfer to the night’s 50-lap ‘A-Main’. Unfortunately Keith was only able to muster a 19th place finish in the feature event. On Saturday, August 4th Barbara competed in the unsanctioned ‘Earl Hill Memorial’ that paid $3,000 to the winner at Tyler County Speedway. Keith set fast time in qualifications and finished third in his heat but wasn’t so lucky during the main event. Barbara was having a solid run until a car in front of him got sideways giving Keith nowhere to go ending his night with a 16th place finish.
This weekend Keith will be at Lernerville Speedway in the Dibert Motorsports / Drew’s Auto Center / Hoosier Racing Tire / Rocket Chassis GTO #64K on Friday and Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway on Saturday in the black #17 for the 40-lap, $3,000 to win ‘Nick and Emma Garin Memorial’.
