South Park, PA (July 24, 2007) Keith Barbara and Forbes Field Motorsports finally got their Triangle Benefits Services / Potoka Trucking / Forbes Field Garage / RanGroup Racing Tours / Colbert’s Collision / Moses Electric / Rocket Chassis GTO back on track this past weekend at “The Rock” Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, MD.

For the past few weeks Keith has been in action in the Drew Koteles owned Dibert Motorsports / Drew’s Auto Center / Hoosier Racing Tire / Rocket Chassis GTO #64K at Lernerville Speedway, Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway, and Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex.

Drew Koteles had been struggling to get the handle of his blue #64K and asked Barbara and Forbes Field Motorsports if they would be willing to help get his car moving forward. Since Keith and team were sidelined with their own motor issues, they were happy to lend a helping hand.

Barbara’s first night behind the wheel of the Koteles #64K was Friday, July 6th at Lernerville Speedway. Instantly Keith had put the car to the front winning his first heat race. During the feature event Barbara battled side-by-side with eventual race winner Gregg Satterlee for more than 15 laps of the 25-lap main event. Keith finished second behind Satterlee in his first appearance in the Koteles #64K. The following night Barbara had another solid run in the Koteles #64K at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway finishing their 25-lap main event in the ninth position.

On Saturday, July 14th Keith took the Koteles #64K to Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA and had another strong run with a sixth place finish. The following Friday Barbara was back at Lernerville Speedway again in the blue #64K. Keith’s string of solid finishes came to an end as he developed problems in the feature event and finished 22nd. On Saturday they again made their way to Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway. Trouble in their heat race put them at the tail of the main event but Barbara methodically maneuvered his way through the field to a very respectable fifth place finish.

Forbes Field Motorsports was finally able to get their family owned Triangle Benefits Services / Potoka Trucking / Forbes Field Garage / RanGroup Racing Tours / Colbert’s Collision / Moses Electric / Rocket Chassis GTO black #17 back on the track on Sunday, July 22 at “The Rock” Allegany County Speedway. Keith was having a strong top-3 run and battling with former Mid-Atlantic Championship Series champion Jack Pencil for second when the driveshaft broke relegating Barbara to a 12th place finish.

“Drew has been great to us the past few weeks and I have gotten to be pretty good friends with him and his crew,” mentioned Keith from his shop on Monday. “I appreciate all they have done to keep me racing throughout our struggles with our own team. I was pretty surprised when he asked me that night (Red Miley Memorial) at Pittsburgh, and I was a little hesitant getting in someone else’s car but luckily things have turned out good for the both of us. We’re having strong runs and finishing well. I hope Drew is happy with how we are running.”

This weekend Keith will be at Lernerville Speedway in the Koteles #64K on Friday and then head to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, OH on Saturday for a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws sanctioned event in their family owned black #17 that is sporting a new look.
