Keith Barbara To Drive For National Dirt Late Model Hall Of Fame Member This Weekend |

South Park, PA (June 13, 2007) Keith Barbara and Forbes Field Motorsports drove the Floyd Lockart owned, Lias Tire/E&M Motors/Townsend Gas & Oil/Edge Racing Engines/Warrior Chassis #4 at Marion Center Speedway two weeks ago and this past Sunday at Challenger Raceway for the Independent Racing Series (IRS) sanctioned ‘Mega-Blitz’.
On Saturday, June 2nd Keith finished a disappointing ninth at Marion Center Speedway in the Lockart car. “We started towards the back and ran into a little bit of trouble during the race,” Keith said this past Tuesday. “We had a better car than ninth, just didn’t have enough time to move up.” Keith used a series provisional to get into the $5,000 to win event at Challenger Speedway. Unfortunately he was only able to muster a 22nd place finish. “The track was a little rough and we really could get the car dialed in. Would have liked to have had a better finish but sometimes things don’t go your way.”
This weekend the team hopes to get their motor back in time to get the family owned Triangle Benefits Services/Potoka Trucking/Forbes Field Garage/RanGroup Racing Tours/Rocket Chassis GTO ready to go for Lernerville Speedway’s regular show (which includes a fireworks display) this Friday night. On Saturday Keith will be piloting the #1 Cochran Automotive/Marshall Stamping/Groff Tractor & Equipment Inc./Tri-State Hose & Supply/Bolea Oil/Hoosier Race Tire/Rocket Chassis GTO owned by multi-time Mid-Atlantic Championship Series Champion and National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame member Lynn Geisler at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway. Geisler will be attending his Niece’s wedding.
