Keith Barbara Announces Plans to Follow NDRL Northeast Series!
South Park, PA (March 19, 2014) Keith Barbara and the Forbes Field Motorsports team will kick-off their 2014 season on Saturday, March 29 at Mercer (PA) Raceway Park as the NDRL Northeast Late Model Series will sanction the $3,000 to-win ‘Chiller Thriller’, an event he won in 2012.
In addition to opening the season with the NDRL Northeast Late Model Series, Keith will follow the entire NDRL Northeast tour in 2014. ‘We’ve always been pretty good at Mercer Raceway Park, we’ve had some success there in the past,’ Barbara said from his shop. ‘We’ve also wanted to get back on the road a little bit the last few years. With our program being where it is, and the travel package that the NDRL Northeast series is providing, we felt that this year is the right time to get back to points racing.’ Keith continued, ‘The schedule has the right amount of events and it pays pretty well. The NDRL Northeast is really exactly what we were looking for. We want to race around 30 to 35 events throughout the season, so most of our schedule will be the NDRL Northeast schedule.'
